In September of 1997, Burnside Funeral Home opened its doors to begin building a new tradition of elegant, yet affordable funeral service for North Central West Virginia.

Longtime Bridgeport businessmen and residents Arnett and Scott Burnside saw a need for a funeral home that would ease a grieving family’s burden by giving a comfortable, spacious and warm atmosphere with elegant and affordable services available for everyone’s financial means.
