Shelia Marie Limparis, 64, of Lumberport, passed away Wednesday evening, January 18, 2012, in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center.  She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on May 20, 1947, a daughter of the late Retired Lt. Col. Everett Greaser and Marie Allman Greaser.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Limparis, on June 15, 2011. 

Surviving are two daughters, Ginger Hurst and her husband Pat, Jane Lew; Karen Purkey and her husband Mike, Barbour County; two sons, Kevin Pearce, Oklahoma; and David Brinson and his wife Danielle, Florida; six grandchildren, Andrew Hurst, Amber Hurst, Kayla Oldaker, Cameron Oldaker, Emily Purkey and Lacey Purkey; and her companion Ken Pearce of Lumberport.  A brother, Edward Greaser, Arkansas; and a sister Alicia Fillan, New Jersey, complete her family.   

Shelia was a graduate of North Little Rock High School, and was a E-4 Yeoman in the US Navy, serving during Vietnam for three years.  She was a member of the DAR and American Legion, Weston.  She liked cats and was Methodist.  Most of all, she was a loving mother and really loved her grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chuck Madaus presiding.  Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Jane Lew.
