Back Words of Comfort
| Sat, Jan 07, 2012 |
Words cannot express my sympathy to you and your family for the loss of "Bobbie". My name is Eric Post and I grew up in the house above her, but you could say I grew up in her yard. She allowed all of us neighborhood kids to play in "Zigmont Stadium" for years. Bobbie always was a very gracious host, she always gave us food and drinks and sometimes ordered a Chunki's pizza for us (she always said it was her favorite). I know the last few years were very difficult on her as she battle through her various health problems. The last time I went down to see her she had called our house and found a softball that had rolled into her yard and wanted us to have it back, I'm so glad I did get to go down and see her one last time. We all loved Bobbie...and she loved all of us kids (her turkeys). Montpelier addition is truly losing a great person with her passing but she will not be forgotten, she will be remembered very fondly by all of us kids whose lives she touched. Condolences to her family, Eric Post
