Back Send condolences to the Hargis Family
Andrew "Andy" "AJ" Hargis, Jr., 45, of Oxford, NC and formerly of Clarksburg, WV passed away at his residence on Saturday October 16, 2010. He was born November 23, 1964 in Clarksburg a son of Marie Hargis of Bridgeport and the late Andrew E. Hargis, Sr.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 29 years, Dianna Hargis.
He is also survived by his daughter, Marlania Hargis and her fiancé Jonathon Williams of Franklinton NC, his daughter Christy Watson and her husband Joshua of Butner, NC; his son, Andrew Hargis, III and his fiancé Lauren Dincher of Butner, NC; his granddaughter Zoey Lynn Watson and his future granddaughter Alexandria Louise Williams; his brothers Timothy and Steven Hargis; his beloved white German Sheppard dog; and one very special best friend, Buddy King Hargis
In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by two brothers Jesse and Michael Hargis.
Andy was a loving and devoted husband and father, and he was a great friend to many. He would help anyone that he could. He loved hot rod cars and animals and there was nothing in this would he would not do for his family. Andy attended Doddridge County High School, which was where he met his wife.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Thursday October 21, 2010 from 2:00-8:00 pm and at the Holy Trinity Church, Summit Park, on Friday October 22, 2010 from 10:00 - 1:00pm where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm with Reverend Patty Post presiding. Interment will be in Elkview Masonic Cemetery, Clarksburg.
