Back Send condolences to the Anthony Cottrill family
Anthony "Tony" W. Cottrill, 44, of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday September 4, 2010 at Canaan Valley. He was born November 6, 1965 in Clarksburg a son of Mary Jane Shaga Moore and her husband Paul R. Moore of Rosemont and the late Ronnie Walter Cottrill.
In addition to his mother he is also survived by his girlfriend of ten years, Sue Swiger; three brothers, Brian Cottrill and his wife Sophia of Las Vegas, NV, Mark Cottrill and his wife Wendy of Bridgeport, and Kevin Cottrill of Rosemont; one sister, Cheri Moore and her husband Arthur of Rosemont; six nieces and nephews, Chad Cottrill, Cody Cottrill, Abbey Cottrill, Ashley Cottrill, Greg Moore and Sydney Moore; and his special girls, Paige Shaffer, Sierra Swiger and Kira Cochran; and Sue's children, Kayla Buffey, Dwayne Buffey and Joseph Buffey.
Tony was a 1984 graduate of Flemington High School and was employed at the United States Postal Service at East Point for the past 22 years. He was Methodist by faith.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, four wheeling, camping and old cars. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles of Clarksburg and the Moose Lodge of Clarksburg.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Tuesday September 7, 2010 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm.
