Elenore Taylor Creak, 79, of Bridgeport, went to her Heavenly reward that she has lived her whole life for on Monday, May 31, 2010.  She was born on Stout’s Run on August 1, 1930, a daughter of the late Harley R. and Lillie Maze Taylor. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Maurice, whom she married September 20, 1952. 

Also surviving are 5 children, Pam Sigley and her husband Loyd, Bridgeport; Katrina Wilfong and her husband Gary, Bridgeport; Terry Creak and his wife Esperanza, Clarksburg; Scott Creak and his wife Glenna Clutter, Buckhannon; and Shawndell Johnson and her husband Rob, Bridgeport; 8 grandchildren, Reta Mays and her husband Gordon, Reynoldsville; Sgt Luke Sigley and his wife Amy, Lawton, OK; Sgt Gerald Wilfong and his wife Loreen, Junction City, KS; Christopher Wilfong, Bridgeport; Terra Creak, Clarksburg; Jerren Creak, Clarksburg; Nathanial Allen, Bridgeport; and Harley Johnson, Bridgeport; 9 great-grandchildren; and a brother Don Taylor, Stage Coach, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harley R. Taylor, Jr. 

She was a 50 year member of the South Hills CEOS, where she was a County Bell and also served in several offices.  She was a member of Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.  She also volunteered at local food pantries, and enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren, cooking, camping and laughing.   

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all.  You will be missed by all who knew you and remembered always.

At the request of Elenore, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Monroe Chapel Building Fund, Rt. 2, Box 159-A, Lost Creek, WV 26385

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Sunday from 2 – 8 pm, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010, with Reverend George Bramble and Reverend Bob King presiding.  Interment will follow in WV National Cemetery.
