Back Send condolences to the Kerr Family
Kenneth Ronald Kerr, Jr., 55, of Bridgeport passed away on Tuesday May 18, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 18, 1954 in Steubenville, OH a son of Kenneth Ronald Kerr, Sr. and Bernice Ann Duke Kerr.
He is survived by his wife Debra Denise Shue Kerr.
He is also survived by his children, Christopher John Kerr and his wife Andrea of Bridgeport, Lauren Anne Abel and her husband Dr. Erik of Columbus, OH, Kenneth Ronald Kerr, III of Orlando, FL; step children, Aaron Michael Gibson of Bridgeport, Noah Benjamin Gibson and his fiancée Melissa Hollandsworth of Clarksburg; grandchildren Audrey Kendall Kerr of Bridgeport, Isayah Benjamin Gibson of Clarksburg, Logan Michael Gawthrop of Clarksburg; one brother Robbie J. Kerr and his wife Victoria of Steubenville, OH; one nephew Michael Kerr of Kent, OH.
Mr. Kerr was a graduate of Weir High School in 1972 and also attended Fairmont State College where he played football from 1972- 1975 and also a member of the TKE fraternity. He worked for the United States Postal Service in Clarksburg for 25 years until his retirement in January of 2009. He was a member of the Postal Workers Union; Bridgeport Booster’s Club and was also active in the community by coaching his children in Little League. He also enjoyed fantasy football, cooking, and loved the 4th of July Holiday.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Friday May 21, 2010 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm, where a memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm with Reverend Jim Lang presiding.
