Brenda Sue Andre, 59, of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday April 4, 2010 at Meadowview Manor Nursing Home where she was a resident for the last 16 years.  She was born March 30, 1951 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Robert J. Andre and Gladys Franks Andre. 

She is survived by her brother Robert J. Andre and his wife Dottie of Bridgeport; her twin sister Linda Gabriel and her husband Victor also of Bridgeport; nieces and nephews, Robert J. Andre III and his wife Suzanne of Bridgeport, Michelle L. Krieger and her husband Bill of Glen Burnie, MD, and Dr. Jaclyn Gabriel and Victor A. Gabriel both of Bridgeport; and two great nieces. 

Brenda enjoyed music and bingo and she loved talking to people.  She also had many close friends and caregivers.  Her pleasant personality will be sadly missed at the Nursing Home.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Wednesday April 7, 2010 from 10:00 – 11:00 am.  Graveside services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at Bridgeport Cemetery with Reverend Steve Engle presiding.
