Back Send condolences to the Ball Family
Betty Lou Biggs Ball, 66, of Mount Clare, passed away on Friday morning April 2, 2010 at her residence. She was born September 9, 1943 in Clarksburg a daughter of the late Charles Biggs and Vilda Shahan Biggs Riffle.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Orvall Ball whom she married on October 21, 1958. They had 46 wonderful years together and John passed away on October 15, 2004.
She leaves behind her two sisters, Helen Thompson and her husband Barry of Mount Clare and Mary Riffle and her husband Arlie of Nutter Fort; one brother Jospeh Mangelo and his wife Kim of Grafton; several nieces and nephews, and a very special cousin and care giver Martha “Martie” Thompson
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Debbie Mangelo, niece Mandy Jo Collins, nephew Timothy Thompson, a very special Aunt Ercie McCloy. Betty also had a lot of family on the Ball side; too many for us to remember but we are sure you were in Betty’s thoughts all the time.
Betty worked at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown for 25 years as an O.R. Technician, and she enjoyed her job and loved all her friends there.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Tuesday April 6, 2010 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm following the visitation.
