Back Send condolences to the Matheny/Gartman Family
Evelyn Frances Gartman, 46, of Clarksburg, passed away unexpectedly at her residence Monday evening, March 8, 2010. She was born on September 24, 1963, in Richland, SC, a daughter of the late Eugene Harry Harris and the late Clara Frances Hurst Medlin. She was also preceded in death by her step-father who raised her, Bryce Medlin.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Gartman; her son John Gartman and her daughter, Angela Gartman, all of Chapin, SC; two brothers, David Medlin, Chapin, SC; and Paul Medlin, Swansia, SC; four nieces; an aunt, Mabel Brooks, Lexington, SC; and cousins, Mary Matheny, Clarksburg; and Mary L. Wilson, Morgantown.
In addition to her parents and step-father, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Bryce Greenwood.
Evelyn was a home health nurse serving in private homes. She liked to read and was a kind-hearted and fun-loving person.
She was cremated and burial will take place in South Carolina.
