Back Send condolences to the Naumann Family
Mary Louise Wuchner Naumann, 91, of Bridgeport and formerly of Clarksburg, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1918, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Anton J. and Mary J. Amann Wuchner.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Sylvester Clinton “Punk” Naumann, to whom she was married for 54 years. They were married on January 23, 1943 in Ft. Francis Warren, Wyoming. Mr. Naumann passed away on June 4, 1997.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Louis J. Iquinto of Bridgeport; Beth Louise and Kenneth Nale of Bridgeport; and Leslie Carol and Harold Moore of Simpsonville, SC; eight grandchildren, Louis Anthony and Tina Iquinto of Bridgeport, Anne Louise Iquinto Axton and her husband Robert, Bridgeport; Ailsa Leanne Iquinto-Jones and her husband Perry of Clarksburg; Adam J. Iquinto of Bridgeport; Scott Nale and his wife Jennifer of Morgantown; Sarah Nale and her friend Joshua Stubbs of Fairmont; Ian Moore of Simpsonville, SC and Rachael Moore also of Simpsonville, SC; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica Iquinto and her husband Aaron Harris, L. Sergio Iquinto, L. Jerome Axton, Antony “Zo” Axton, Gabriella Marie Iquinto-Jones, Anna Rose Iquinto, Brynn Nichole Axton, Garrick James Iquinto-Jones, and Giatta Marie Iquinto; and one sister-in-law Helen Perkins of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews; and two loving and devoted care companions, Phyllis Andy and Sharon Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Lewis G. Wuchner, and her sister Genevieve Stadler and brother-in-law Leo Stadler.
Louise was a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1936, and WV Business College.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Friday from 2-8 pm, where the Vigil Service will be held at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
