Back Send condolences to the Seese Family
James E. “Bodie” Seese, 54, of
Rosemont, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 7, 2010. He was born in
Rosemont on October 21, 1955, a son of the late Denzil H. Seese, Sr. and Elva
Etta Jackson Seese.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Lewis Seese; his daughter, Tiffany Ross and her husband Scott, Nutter Fort; his son, Chad Seese and his wife Shelly, Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Erin Barberio; Logan Seese; Ethan Seese; Coleman Jarrett; Dakota Jarrett; and Tyson Jarrett. Three sisters, Audrey Blake and her husband Raymond, Berkley Springs; Mabel Davis and her husband Bob, Catawba, GA; and Shirley Hayes and her husband Ed, Painsville, OH; three brothers, William Seese and his wife Connie, Madison, OH; Daniel Seese, Flemington; and Robert Seese and his wife Brenda, Bridgeport; a brother-in-law, Weldon McCaulley, Perry, OH; and several nieces and nephews complete his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Bertha “Toots” Seese; Baby Seese; Agnes Seese; and Thelma “Sis” McCaulley; and a brother, Denzil Seese, Jr.
Jim was a member of the United Steel Workers and was a plant utility worker at AGC. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on his brother’s farm. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a jokester with a great sense of humor.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday from 2-8 pm, where services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, with Pastor James Saunders presiding. Interment will follow in IOOF Cemetery, Flemington.
