We will miss Uncle Al very much.  We know he’s in God’s hands now and will keep an eye on us all—near and far!  I remember so many things about Uncle Al even though we didn’t see each other frequently. And when I start to recall a memory, the corners of my mouth start to turn upwards in a smile almost before the memory comes.  And what a testament to a long marriage and a wonderful family – Uncle Al and Aunt Linda showed us!

Our deepest sympathies go to you Aunt Linda and to Mike and Cherie and Alfred, Jr.  and the whole family.  We hope that there are moments of great and happy memories and smiles among the grief in these next days ahead.  We so wish we could be with you and trust that the family will be together to embrace, consol and nourish one another.   We’re sending giant hugs and our prayers of love and support to you.

We miss you!   Love,

Wendy and Jason   Writing from San Diego

My name is Jim Sturms. I drive a delivery van for Obermeyer's Florist in Parkersburg.   The last 4 years I have had the pleasure of getting to know "AJ"     He never failed to light up our work site every Mon. thur Fri. around noon when he dropped off our flowers and supplies.   He always walked in with smile and left all of us with a smile on our faces when he left.  It was a pleasure knowing him.    All of us at Obermeyer's were saddened to hear of your loss. We all will miss him.

My thoughts and prays are with you and your family.   May God help you and your family at this time of loss.
