Back Send condolences to the Lyle Family
Mary Ann Lyle, 65, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday morning, September 3, 2009, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, NY, on December 4, 1943, a daughter of the late James J. and Mary M. Conley.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth H. Lyle, whom she married August 29, 1964.
Also surviving are 3 children, Sean P. Lyle and his wife Paulette, Kissimmee, FL; Kenneth “Jay” Lyle and his wife Kim, Bridgeport, and Kevin “Casey” Lyle and his wife Beth, Charles Town, WV; 11 grandchildren, Brittany Lyle, Colin Lyle, Jamie Lyle, Jordan Lyle, Sean-Michael Lyle, Kevin Lane-Brock, Hunter Maul, Morgan Brock, Arielle Lyle, Kiersten Lyle, and Candace Brice. A brother, James L. Conley, Dewitt, NY; a sister, Carol J. Hitt, Woodburne, NY; and several nieces and nephews complete her family.
Mary Ann graduated from St. Johns Catholic Academy, Syracuse, NY, and attended State University of NY at Oswego. She was the Program Coordinator for the Sullivan County Public Health Nursing Service in Liberty, NY for 22 years. She also had worked at the Berry Patch Gift Shop at the WV Fruit and Berry Farm.
She was a member of CEOS of Brushy Fork, Bridgeport, the Newcomers Club of Harrison County, various cancer support groups, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and was a NY Mets fan.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm, and the Wake Service will be held at the funeral home at 3 pm Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Stonewood, with Father John Ledford as Celebrant.
