Kevin L. “Lewie” Lewis, 50, of Tibbs Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday August 6, 2009 at his residence.  He was born March 2, 1959 a son of the late Shirley Lewis Hardman and  Norman Hardman, who survives in Lumberport.  He was preceded in death by his biological father, Charles Todd. 

He is survived by his wife Debbie L. Lewis, whom he married November 18, 1989.

 He is also survived by four children, Christie O’Dell and her husband Mike of Orwigsburg, PA, Amy Eakle and her husband Thomas of Clarksburg, Kevin Matthew “Matt” Lewis of Clarksburg, and Jenny Lewis also of Clarksburg; 8 grandchildren, Michelle, Dylan, Alyssa, Lexi, Austin, Logan Abigail, and Rylee; four brothers and sisters, Belinda Hardman, Jay Hardman both of Clarksburg, Robin Hardman, Enterprise, and Jamie Hardman of Summit Park; half brothers, Chad Todd and Matt Todd, both of Summit Park; his stepmothers, Sandra Todd, Summit Park, and Sandra Hardman, Lumberport; and several nieces and nephews. 

Kevin had worked at Scott Lad for 10 years, and at City Window and Construction for 14 years. He was a member of Summit Park Baptist Church and he loved fishing, riding his ATV, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play ball,  and helping friends and neighbors. 

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Sunday from 1-8 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009, at 2 pm  with Reverend Rick Owens presiding.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
