Back Send condolences to the Trader Family
Marjorie J. Bise Trader, 81, of Sardis, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at United Hospital Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Marjorie was born on February 7, 1928, in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late David Levi Bise and Elsie Vee Cofer Bise.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Gale L. Trader; two sons, David G. Trader and his wife Helen of Beckley, and Roger K. Trader and his wife Brenda of Grapevine, TX; her twin sister, Martha J. Friedrich of Cleveland, OH; three grandchildren, Carolyn E. Trader of Huntington, Kimberly M. Trader of Grapevine, TX and Daniel R. Trader of Beckley, brother-in-law James Trader and his wife Shirley of Painesville, OH; two aunt-in-laws Virginia Hayhurst of Alliance, OH and Edna Kuhn of Fairmont, a special cousin Opal Bise of Clarksburg; special friends Rodney and Cindy White of Clarksburg; several other cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Jeremiah “Jeremy” Trader, mother-in-law Ruby P. Trader, father-in-law Lloyd C. Trader, and a brother-in-law Herman Friedrich.
Marjorie was a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School Class of 1946 and attended West Virginia Business College. She had worked at Eagle Convex Glass Company, and in the business departments of Robert’s Hardware, Crowley News, and Central Storage. She was a member of the Sardis CEOS. Family and friends always came first in her life. She was a Methodist by faith.
In addition to flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Marjorie can be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Thursday from 6 – 8 pm, where services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, July 17, 2009, with Reverend James Loar officiating. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown.
