Beulah J. “Tillie Boots” Williamson Fancher, 97, of Hornor’s Run Road, passed away Friday morning, June 19, 2009, at her residence.  She was born on May 7, 1912, on Hornor’s Run, a daughter of the late Ila L. and Mary M. Nuzum Williamson. 

On November 8, 1933, she married Ernest L. Fancher, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 1, 1998. 

She is survived by a son, Robert L. Fancher and his wife Bonnie, Rt. 73, Shinnston; two daughters, Helen Mann and her husband Russ, Lancaster, Ohio; and Betty J. Robinson and her husband C.D., Bridgeport; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ernestine Shackleford and Lela McDonald; and three brothers, Odbert, Herbert and Edward Williamson.   

She was a homemaker and farm wife, and had worked at Fancher’s Meats for ten years.  She loved to read and enjoyed having company.  She was Protestant and was baptized at Boothsville Baptist Church. 

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Sunday from 4-8 pm, where services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009, at 11 am with Reverend Rita Robinson presiding.  Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
