Back Send condolences to the Simirotis Family
Charlotte Ann Simirotis, 70, of Bridgeport, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, under the care of People’s Hospice at Meadowview Manor, where she made her home for the past 11 years. She was born in Clarksburg on January 25, 1939, a daughter of the late Charles G. and Teresa Trecost Simirotis.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Teresa of Bridgeport; her sister Catherine Blake, also of Bridgeport; an Aunt, Joan Trecost Grisso of Clarksburg; and several cousins.
Charlotte attended St. Mary’s and Notre Dame Schools and she also attended All Saints Catholic Church. Charlotte was a favorite among the entire staff of Meadowview Manor and she will be sadly missed by all of those who cared for her.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Thursday from 2 – 8 pm, where a Vigil service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009, at 10:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Hilarion Cann as Celebrant. Burial will be in Elkview Masonic Cemetery, Clarksburg.
The family wishes to thank Meadowview Manor and their entire staff for the love and care that they have provided Charlotte over the years.
