Back Send condolences to the Strader Family
Eloise Verna Hall Strader, 85, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday March 30, 2009 in Bridgeport, WV. She was born February 21, 1924, in Nicholas County a daughter of the late Floyd George Hall and Lillie Mae Fox Hall.
On October 23, 1942, she married Telvie H. Strader, who preceded her in death on January 15, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Ilona “Pat” Harris and Yvonne C. Strader; a son, Brady Lee Strader and his wife Charlene; a grandson, Travis Lee Strader, all of Bridgeport; and two sisters, Imogene Boggs, Diamond, OH; and Audra Hurst of Ormond Beach, FL.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Louise Collins and two brothers, Orville and Pete Hall.
Eloise retired as a supervisor in housekeeping from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Buckhannon.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Meadowview Manor and People’s Hospice for the care given to Eloise.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Thursday from 4 – 8 pm, where services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009, at 1 pm with Pastor Bill Stutler presiding. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
