Back Send Condolences to the Conlon Family
Glenda Sue “Susan” Conlon, 67, Bridgeport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday afternoon, March 10, 2009. She was born April 7, 1941, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Bessie Belle Snyder Lattea.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Thomas J. Conlon, and is survived by her first husband, Lynn Moneypenny, Camden, WV.
She is survived by two daughters, Molly Sue Patterson and her husband Kevin, Buckhannon; and Shari Lynn Corathers and her husband David, Cranberry Township, PA; a step-son, Patrick J. Conlon and his wife Debbie, Twinsburg, OH; four grandchildren, Christopher Patterson and his fiancée Caitlin Orsburn; Dustin Corathers, Casey Patterson, and Paige Corathers. Two sisters, Irene Cherney, McKinleyville, CA; Betty George, Fairmont; a brother, Bill Lattea, Charleston; and several nieces and nephews complete her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Opal Spicer, Kathryn Carrig, and June Perry; and three brothers, George Lattea, Lee Lattea, and a brother who died in infancy.
Susan was an Office Manager with Mason Family Chiropractic for the past eight years. She was a member of Evangel Baptist Church and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
Memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 10 am with Reverend Jeff Ramsey presiding. Interment will follow at Rock Grove Cemetery, Linn, WV.
