Back Send condolences to the Snodgrass Family
Betty Jean Snodgrass, 65, of High Street, Clarksburg, passed away Friday morning, March 6, 2009, in the United Hospital Center. She was born December 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Hattie Lefever Perkins.
She is survived by her companion, James Filler; her son, Chester Snodgrass and his companion Robin Fultineer, Clarksburg; and two granddaughters, Ashley Thompson and Maggie Swiger, both of Clarksburg.
Betty was preceded in death by her two brothers, Lee Perkins and Ray Perkins.
She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, North View. She was a homemaker and served as a school volunteer for over 22 years at Washington-Irving High School and Middle School.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday, March 9, 2009, from 12 Noon – 2 pm, where services will be held at 2 pm with Pastor Joseph Riggs presiding. Interment will be held in Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery at a later date.
