Back Send condolences to the Kelley Family
Dustin Lee Kelley, 27, of Rosemont, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 31, 1981, in Clarksburg, a son of the late Gerald Kelley and Nancy Lou Kooken Kelley, who survives in Rosemont.
In addition to his mother, Dustin is survived by his sister, Amanda Kenney and her husband Greg of Bridgeport, an extra special nephew, Tyler Kelley, whom he loved spending time with; numerous cousins, including those that assisted with his care, Josh, Jeremy, Chad and Jed Thompson, and Mitchell Gregory; special friends that also assisted with his care, Mike Goodwin and Julia Crim; and several aunts and uncles.
In addition to his father, Dustin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Natalie Kelley, and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Kooken.
Dustin graduated from the Victory Valley Christian Academy in 1999. He worked for Victory Construction driving a plow truck. He loved to work on all vehicles, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, putting models together and all Ford vehicles. Dustin attended Victory Valley Church.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, on Sunday from 5 - 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 pm on Monday, March 2, 2009, with Pastor James Thompson, Pastor Keith Swiger and Daniel Hudkins presiding. Interment will follow in the Flemington IOOF Cemetery.
