Arthur Harold Lemaster
Arthur Harold Lemaster, 85, of Lumberport and formerly of Warren, OH, passed away December 7, 2008, in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Wetzel County on March 23, 1923, a son of the late Albert and Mary Yoho Lemaster.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Rosalie Dale Yoho Lemaster; six sons, Wayne Lemaster and his wife Linda of Lost Creek; Richard Lemaster of Marshall, MI; Rodrick Lemaster of Grafton; Robert Lemaster and his wife Patricia of Warren, OH; Walter Lemaster of Lumberport; and Barry Lemaster and his fiancé Cheryl Taylor of Dawmont; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Lemaster and one sister, Ethel Coffman, both of Dola.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Leek.
Arthur served in the United States Army in Europe during World War II from 1943 to 1946. He retired as a mill operator from Copper-Weld Steel in Warren, OH in 1986 after 32 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was Protestant by faith.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, from 5 - 8 pm Wednesday, where services will be held at 11 am Thursday, December 11, 2008, with Bishop Stephen Noel presiding. Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, where Military Funeral Honors will be accorded.
