Kenneth E. Gardner
Kenneth E. Gardner, 58, of Circle Drive, Quiet Dell, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008, following an extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg on March 5, 1950, a son of the late Coy Edward and Betty Jean Crews Gardner.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Charleen Allen Gardner, whom he married in 1972. He is also survived by his son, Justin Gardner of Clarksburg; one sister, Becky Gardner Critchfield and her husband Tom of Mt. Clare; and one brother, Ermet Paul Gardner of Knoxville, TN.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheena Gardner; a sister, Tammy Sue Gardner, and a brother, Ray Lee Gardner.
He was a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School. He had previously worked for Anchor-Hocking Glass Co. as a fork lift operator, in the warehouse at Eagle Convex, and as a delivery driver for US Cargo.
Kenneth enjoyed antique car shows and liked to travel.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, on Friday from 6 – 8 pm , where services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008, at 11 am with Pastor Jamie Gizzi presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
