Laura Lee Myers Fulton
Laura Lee Myers Fulton, 50, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly Friday evening, June 13, 2008. She was born in Clarksburg on April 21, 1958, the only child of Sherley Shaffer Myers, who survives in Bridgeport, and the late James M. Myers.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Matthew D. Seckman, a student at WVU, Morgantown; her aunt, Yvonne L. Boord, Martinsburg and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Laura Lee graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1976, and graduated from WVU with a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Early Childhood. A certified teacher for gifted children, she taught in Wood County for several years and presently taught at Adamston Grade School.
She was an avid walker at the mall, loved to travel and meet people, and was Protestant by faith and had attended Calvary United Methodist Church. Laura Lee also wrote poems in honor of most of her aunts and uncles when they passed away. She loved cats and collected teddy bears.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday from 2 – 8 pm, where services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 am with Reverend Etheldean Yanero presiding. Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
