Christian Avery Markley, infant son of James E. and Erica B. Pratt Markley of Bridgeport,  passed away Saturday morning, April 19, 2008, in Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born in Pittsburgh on April 10, 2008.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Matthew Scott Pratt; his maternal grandparents, Lisa and Glen Pratt, Weston; and his paternal grandparents, Rose Mary Goots Markley, Elkins; and Edward J. and Elaine Markley, Mill Creek.  An uncle, Chris Pratt, West Union; his aunt and uncle, Tammy and Harley Hefner, Martinsburg; his great-grandparents, Vallie Goots, Elkins; Beatrice Markley, Mill Creek; Joyce R. Pratt and Norma Jean Golden, both of Weston, complete the family.

Even though Christian was with us only a short time, he was loved so much by his family, and the family appreciates the many prayers offered and concern shown during this time.

Friends may call at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Tuesday, April 22, 2008,  from 12 noon – 2 pm, where services will be held at 2 p.m.  Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
