Jody Rucker
Jody Kevin Rucker, 47, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 9, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Logan on October 9, 1960, a son of Harold Rucker, Michigan, and the late Ruth Rainwater.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua Rucker, Lumberport; and Joseph Rucker, Shinnston; a grandson, Marcus Rucker; four brothers, Audie Rucker, Baltimore; Walter Rucker and his wife Diana, Lumberport; Bengie Rucker and his wife Kimmy, Wolf Summit; and Caleb Bruce, Clarksburg; 3 sisters, Dana Reese and her husband Jim, Winston-Salem, NC; Cheryl Rucker and her companion Pete Liston, Clarksburg; Robin McDaniel and her husband Michael, Clarksburg; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Rucker; a sister, Jennifer Persinger; a niece, Gwendolyn Haymond; and a great-niece, Cayla Fleming.
Jody was a roofer, last working for Griffith Construction. He loved to fish, hunt, being in the outdoors, and shoot pool. He loved his children and family, and will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Park.
