Lisa Marie Shockey Riffle, 46, of Washington Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, July 15, 2007, at her residence. She was born in Fairmont on July 26, 1960, a daughter of the late Gene Dennis and Twila Jean Jones Shockey.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Riffle, Clarksburg; her granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Riffle; two sisters, Jane Hankins and her husband Sam, Nashville, TN; and Gena Wine, Fairmont; and her brother, Chris Shockey, Fairmont.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Justin Riffle.
Lisa was a graduate of Liberty High School and had attended Fairmont State University. She had been employed at Wendy’s in Clarksburg. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Lisa’s request for cremation was honored. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday evening at 7 pm at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, with Reverend Ramona Woods presiding. The family invites friends to share memories of Lisa at the funeral home from 5 – 7 pm Saturday.
