Rose Marie Romes Marple, age 70 of Morriston, FL, passed away Monday afternoon, June 19, 2006 at the Ocala Health & Rehabilitation Center, Ocala, FL following an extended illness. She was born June 19, 1935 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Nickola S. Romes and the late Emma Louise Reinkey Romes.
Survivors include her husband Dalton Dale Marple, whom she married May 30, 1959; four sons Gino Tosi and Amadio Tosi both of Virginia, James D. Marple of Merritt Island, FL and Paul C. Marple of Williston, FL; one daughter Michalle Walker of Port Snarlet, FL; eleven grandchildren including Samantha Marple, Ross Marple, David Marple, Ryan Marple, Christina Tosi, Angelia Tosi, Valerie Harris, Nickolas Tosi, Vincent Tosi, Gina Tosi and Gabriella Tosi; one great-granddaughter Madelyn Harris; two brothers Raymond Lapan and Frank Romes, both of Avon Lake, OH and two sisters Kathern Halco and Ethil Millspoge, both of Cleveland, OH.
In honoring Mrs. Marple’s wishes, there was no public viewing or funeral services. She was returned to West Virginia and interred in the Coplin Cemetery on Jarvisville Rd.
The family of Rose Marie Marple entrusted her funeral arrangements to Burnside Funeral Home 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport.
