Junior Howard Gregis, 63, of Salem, died Thursday afternoon, August 17, 2006.  He was born in Harrison County on July 9, 1943, a son of the late John James and Edith Cross Gregis.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Joe Barker, West Milford; two brothers, Frank W. Gregis, Bridgeport; and Larry A. Gregis and his wife Cathy, Halls Run, Bristol; a sister-in-law, Barbara Gregis, Canal Fulton, OH; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J. Leroy Gregis.

Junior loved animals and especially enjoyed horses.  He also loved talking to family and friends.  He was a Baptist.

Friends may call at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday evening, August 21, 2006 from 5:00-9:00 PM, where services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM with Reverend Alford Bradford presiding.  Interment will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery.

Ralph Olen Marsh

Ralph Olen Marsh, 84, most recently of Gawthrop Lane, Clarksburg, and a resident of Warren, OH from 1951 through 1995, passed away Tuesday morning, September 12, 2006, at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center, Clarksburg. He was born June 12, 1922 in Weston, WV, a son of the late Olen Samuel and Mary Annice (Boram) Marsh.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 53 years, Judith A. Flowers Marsh on May 7, 2002.

Ralph is survived by his son Troy Lee Marsh, Sr. of Pensacola, FL, a daughter-in-law Denise Marsh of New Bern, NC; two grandsons Troy Marsh, Jr. of New Bern, NC and Jeremy Marsh of Pensacola, FL; two brothers Glenn Marsh of Clarksburg and Marvin Marsh and his wife Mary Jane of Mt. Clare; two sisters Charlotte Lewis of Weston and Wilma Flowers of Warren, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell R. Marsh and an infant Lawrence M. Marsh; and two sisters Shirley Jean Marsh and Madeline Riffle.

Ralph retired in 1985 as a packer from ITT Grinnell in Warren, OH after 35 years of service to the company.

A protestant, he was a veteran of World War, II having served with the United States Army from October of 1942 until December of 1945. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass and Gospel music.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, WV from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday, September 14, 2006 where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday with Reverend Martin Wine presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell.
