Bertha Louise Bise, 82, of Old Rosemont School Road, Rosemont, passed unexpectedly from her earthly life to rest in the arms of Jesus Friday morning, March 17, 2006 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1923, in Philippi, WV, a daughter of the late Harman W. and Nancy (Trimble) McGee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsie L. Bise, on June 22, 1991.
Louise is survived by one daughter, Debora L. Bise of Rosemont; two brothers, Edward McGee and his wife Edith of Fairmont, and John McGee of Rosemont; two sisters Minnie V. Gray of Toledo, OH, and Margaret M. McGee of Rosemont, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five infant children including one son, David, and four daughters, Norma, Frances, Melissa, and Vanessa; three brothers Billy McGee, Fred McGee, and Samuel C. McGee; and one sister, Nancy Ruth McGee.
Louise enjoyed reading her Bible and growing African violets. She was a graduate of Flemington High School, a homemaker, and a Protestant.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, March 19, 2006, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday with Pastor Michael Stottlemyer presiding. Interment will follow in the Monroe Chapel Cemetery at Romines Mills.
