Anner Lucille Sisk, age 82 of Arthur Lane, Buckhannon, WV and formerly of Gibson City, IL, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 20, 2006 at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, WV following an extended illness. She was born February 26, 1924 in Metropolis, IN, a daughter of the late Charles Grace and the late Gracie Vickers Grace.
Survivors include her son Larry Sisk of Buckhannon, WV with whom she made her home; one granddaughter Deonnna Weedon of Leesburg, FL; one great-grandson Ryan David Weedon; two brothers Barney and Tony Grace both of Kankakee, IL and two sisters Virginia Christianson of Kankakee, IL and Betty Jo Coburn of Indianapolis, IN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Clint Sisk; two sisters and two brothers.
Lucille was employed in an electronics factory where she retired as a supervisor after 35 years of service. When she resided in Gibson City, she was a member of the Women’s Club there. She loved being in the outdoors; flower gardening, throwing parties and entertaining guests. She was a genuine people person who was always laughing and had a great sense of humor.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and returned to the Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Kankakee, IL for inurnrment.
The family of Anner Lucille Sisk has entrusted her funeral arrangements to Burnside Funeral Home 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, WV.
