Alice L. Patrick, 79, of Green Valley Community, Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Flemington on March 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Harter J. and Beulah (Bennett) Stout.
On December 8, 1947, she married Thomas Patrick, who passed away March 14, 2001.
Surviving are her daughter Judy Critchfield, Jane Lew; three sons, John E. Patrick and his wife Beverly, Michael T. Patrick and his wife Cindy; and David Patrick, all of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren, Vanessa Patrick, Adam Patrick, Micah Patrick, Matthew Patrick, Shelby Patrick, and Paul Vincent; Timmy Bates, who was like a grandson; a sister, Mary Cutlip, Birch River, WV; and several nieces and nephews
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Genny and Chris Critchfield, and a brother, John Stout.
Alice was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1946, and had attended Victory Valley Church, Rosemont.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport, on Friday from 6-8 pm, and on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 pm with Reverend Thomas P. Horne presiding. Interment will follow in the Middleville Cemetery.
