Michael Wayne
Naylor, 59, of Maple Lake, Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, June
28, 2006, at his residence following a brief illness. He was
born March 30, 1947, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Clyde Robert
and Myrtle Belle (Moore) Naylor.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Betty J. Blackstone, Columbus, Ohio; and Janet Ryland, Holden, LA; 2 brothers, Gary Naylor and his wife Paulette, Beverly, Ohio; and Jimmie Naylor, Marietta, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sara Naylor.
Michael served in the US Army and was a graduate of Ohio University and became a Certified Public Accountant, being self-employed for many years in Clarksburg. He also had worked in land acquisition for a strip mining company. He was an avid reader, often reading three books at one time, and he enjoyed his Maple Lake neighbors, his dog and cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael and Sara’s memory can be made to the Bridgeport Public Library, 1200 Johnson Avenue, Bridgeport, WV 26330.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at the Maple Lake Club House on July 14th. Interment was held in the WV National Cemetery, Pruntytown, with full Military Rites accorded.
